Bury Golf Club Just a mile from the M60 north of Manchestser – An Alister Mackenzie designed course. Accuracy more than length will reap rewards.
Pike Fold next to the M66 & M62 – a delightful course – easy walking and thought-provoking water hazards.
Prestwich – a tough test for many – in site of the city centre. Featured recently on TV for a Foot-Golf demonstration.
Rochdale – 125 years old in 2013 – A Parkland/Moorland challenge with the largest Ladies section in the North-West. Video tutorials & the best equipped pro’s shop around.
Stand – Championship standard & seldom shut due to adverse weather owing to its sandy sub-soil.
Swinton Park – Easy walking with a surfeit of Par-5’s. The longest front 9 in Lancashire. Direct access from the East Lancs Road. An excellent Corporate Golf venue.
Whitefield – Close to junction 17 M60 – Another Championship standard course – slightly up & down but with some of the most challenging Par-3’s you’ll find in Northern England
Worsley – not to be confused with the Worsley-Mariott. Nestling close to the Bridgwater Canal in Monton, this is a links you’ll enjoy immensely with testing dog-legs on the back 9.
